What’s Your Offer?

When you’re looking to drive extra traffic over a short period of time to your business or event, getting the word out is important and will help drive any interested prospects already in the market out to your promotion. If you can raise awareness of a GREAT offer though, you’ll create urgency, push prospects further through the consumer journey, and cause potential customers who might not have been in the market today to reconsider their position.

A great offer could be a limited time discount on tickets if they are bought ahead of time. It could be a dirt cheap food special that acts as a loss leader to get people in the door who’ll end up spending money on other items. Maybe you offer a free piece of workout gear with new gym memberships. It might even be as simple as something of value to the prospect that they can get from your business and nowhere else.

Think about the times you have gone out of your way to buy something at an occasion you might not have been planning to buy it. What made you jump? Or better yet, maybe you didn’t have to go out of your way at all – and the ease of purchase influenced you to buy. Convenience can be a great offer in and of itself.

A great offer might even be the primary differentiator between your business and your competition. Sure, an attractive offer can cost you money over the short term. But, if your business is really providing a product or service of true value than the new prospects who walk through your doors are likely to become endearing customers to you for years to come.

So what’s your offer? Need help coming up with a great offer? Let’s talk!
