Moon Tunes: Music and Fun in Riverside Park

There’s nothing better than relaxing in Riverside Park on a warm summer night while you soak up the sweet sounds of Moon Tunes. That’s how we summer in La Crosse, Wisconsin and it’s magical. Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. After taking a pandemic gap-year, it feels like the entire city turns out for the fun. It was worth the wait and finally, we’re able to enjoy that beautiful, new band-shell, except tonight. Mother Nature didn’t cooperate, but no worries. Moon Tunes moved the party a few blocks down to the Cavalier Lounge for the La Crosse Jazz Orchestra, featuring American Idol finalist Reed Grimm.

The weekly concerts are made possible thanks to the hard work of Terry Bauer and the team at Valley View Rotary. The line up is eclectic and incredible, so grab your lawn chairs and and join us Thursdays between 5:30 and 8:00pm or watch online at Around River City.com. The live-stream is a collaboration between the Moon Tunes Summer Concert Series and the Around River City Sound Lounge, thanks to the wizardry of Mid-West Family’s Tyler Woodward. It’s just like being there, without the crowd.
